Williams Fine Art Photography
Neil David Williams
Neil is a hobbyist Wildlife, landscape & Street photographer.
Over the past few years he has become fascinated with photography and thrives on the feeling of satisfaction when he produces a good piece of work. It started off as a hobby but now it has become a huge part of his life where he looks for any given opportunity that inspires him to take a good picture. All of his work has given him a sense of achievement. I am sure Neil will hope that you enjoy looking at his pictures as much as he enjoyed taking them.
If you are someone who appreciates and enjoys beautiful, peaceful images of the world around us, I think you will find some photographs in Neil’s galleries that would be great additions to your home or workplace and that would be sure to grab the attention of your visitors.
Recently Neil started Wildlife Photography in Africa and uses his Nikon D4s and D800e along with his Nikon 600mm f4 and Nikon 80/400mm f4-5.6
Neil currently shoots Landscape with a Leica S, Nikon D4s and D800e. He also uses a selection of Leica prime lenses, Nikon Zoom and Wide Angle Prime lenses anything from 14mm to 600mm.
While shooting landscape Neil uses a Gitzo Tripod/Bullhead, a selection of Lee GND (Graduated Neutral Density) Filters and a Singh Ray Polarizer
While out shooting Street Photography, Neil uses his Leica S with a selection of Leica S lenses and he newly acquired Leica TL2
Natural Light Photography
Ninety percent of photographs displayed in this website have been photographed solely using natural light, “Neil only uses flash for his studio work”.
Neil does not use any colored filters when shooting or add colors to photographs during post production. The incredible light and color that you see in Neil’s photographs are a result of repeatedly revisiting locations during times of the day when most people are in bed or at home unwinding for the day. It is during these times when you are most likely to experience what Neil calls ‘the magic hour’. Usually it only lasts for a matter of minutes but when it happens he is there, ready and waiting to capture it!
Thank you for your interest and enjoy your visit!
